The sky does not line up with what I see

Phone compasses drift. Move the phone in a figure-8 a few times away from metal objects and magnets, then point it at the sky again. You can also drag the map by hand with sensors off.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Stars, planets and constellations are built in. Only satellite orbits need an occasional refresh (Satellites › Refresh, at most every 2 hours).

How do I keep my eyes dark-adapted?

Open the menu and turn on Night mode for a red interface.

Why does the app ask for location?

To calculate the sky for where you are. It stays on your phone. You can also enter a place by hand in Menu › Location.

Is there a paid version or ads?

No. The app is free, with no ads and no purchases.
